Every week there are many opportunities to lend an hour or more to help support the cultural programming and education initiatives at the DANK Haus. Some spend time leading a museum tour or processing book donations in our library. Many people enjoy preparing food or serving beer at our annual Mayfest booth. Others regularly staff the bar or kitchen at our monthly Stammtisch Open Haus. Still others invest time in installing exhibits in our gallery space or taking care of our building. For many projects, such as transcribing oral history interviews, you can even volunteer from a remote location!
Be it a once-a-year commitment or once-a-week commitment, we would love to see you here. For a more ongoing involvement, consider joining one of our committees.

The Hartig Volunteer of the Year Award is presented at the annual membership meeting in the fall. Recipients have dedicated countless hours to the organization to ensure its bright future. We are incredibly grateful for their time and efforts!
