Truce in the Trenches

The Christmas Truce of 1914

Exhibition Open: November 13 - January 9
DANK Haus Treffpunkt Gallery

Amidst the muddy, desolate battlefields of the Western Front, an extraordinary moment of humanity broke through the horrors of World War I. On Christmas Eve 1914, enemy soldiers laid down their arms, stepped into No Man’s Land, and shared carols, gifts, and temporary peace.

Truce in the Trenches brings to life the legendary truce that briefly silenced the guns of Europe. Experience the fragile, unforgettable night when enemies became brotherhood in the trenches.
