Intercultural Class

Willkommen to our Summer Classes 2026! While the sun tickles your endorphines out of their shell, learning German will enhance your mood even further.

Class Description

What is culture? How does it influence us and our everyday interactions? What about culture makes us “German” or “American?” How do we navigate cultural differences effectively? We will take a deep dive into the dynamic intersection of German and American culture, introduce perspectives on culture and cultural differences, as well as examine the skills and knowledge that contribute to the development of intercultural competence.

This class is for all learners German, meets up at the DANK Haus every Monday for a 4-week-period and runs for 1.5 hours.

Meeting UP

The in-person class meets 4 times - on every Monday, May 11 - June 1, from 6:30 - 8:00pm at the DANK 3rd floor.

PREREQUISITES

No prerequisites needed for this class. Please note, this class is fully in English.

Price

The cost of this class is $260 for friends of the DANK Haus and $285 for all others. If you're interested to become a friend of ours, click here!

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after June 27th, 2026.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 10 students in order for this class to come together.
