Willkommen to the 2024/25 school year at the Kinderschule!

class description

In this 90 minute class students finesse their German skills. This class is designed for those who have a good basis of German, and for intermediate learners. The class will focus on DSD I writing skills, while also finessing free speaking skills, vocabulary, and the cultural knowledge about German speaking countries. This class is highly recommended for students who will be taking the DSD I in the near future.

We highly recommend taking any of these classes in conjunction with our Saturday program, however, these classes may also be taken on their own.

Meeting times

Classes meet in-person, Wednesdays, 5:30-7pm at the DANK Haus. We have two sessions, meeting 9 times each session:

Class placement

These classes are recommend for students ages 12 and up, who have a good knowledge of German (CEFR Level A2 or B1). Please contact us at kinderschule@dankhaus.com if you are not sure of your child's level.

Price

Each session has 9 meeting dates and costs $165 for friends of the DANK Haus (you can become a member here). For the general public the cost is $175 per session (9 meetings).

Sign-up fee

There is no sign-up fee. Once you have signed up we will send you an invoice. Please sign up at least two weeks before class starts to help us plan accordingly.
