(Short-)Movies, music and more

Willkommen to our Summer Classes 2024! While the sun tickles your endorphines out of their shell, learning German will enhance your mood even further. Dive into the rich German culture and the quirky little ins and outs that this language provides, especially in relation short films and music.

Class Description

Delve into the rich cultural landscape of Germany through the captivating mediums of short films and songs. This course offers a comprehensive exploration of German cinema and music. We will be analyzing themes and lyrics of songs as well as plot and storyline, characters and themes in short films. This class is meant for German students on the A2.2, B1 and B2 level and meets up at the DANK Haus every Monday for a 6-week-period.

This class runs for 1.5 hours. This class covers CEFR Level A2.2 and above.

Meeting UP

The in-person class meets 6 times - on every Wednesday, July 3 - August 7, from 6:30 - 8:00pm at the DANK 3rd floor.

PREREQUISITES

You have completed at least the Beginner III class? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price

The cost of this class is $113 for friends of the DANK Haus and $138 for all others. If you're interested to become a friend of ours, click here!

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after June 19th, 2024.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together.
