Loyola German Service Learning Presentations

1st Floor DANK Treffpunkt

Wednesday | April 26th | 5:30-7:00 PM

During the spring semester at Loyola University Chicago, some students have been exploring German-American history with a focus on Chicago in a course taught by Dr. Reinhard Andress, Director of German Studies. A significant part of the course has invovled service-learning projects in connection with the DANK Haus. At this event, students will present their final projects that range from fascinating objects from the DANK archives and Irish-German relations to social media posts on the traces of German-American history in Chicago and its presence in the city today. Come and support the interesting work of these students!
