Kulturküche: Rhubarb Three Ways

Join us at the DANK Haus on Friday, June 11th for a Kulturküche Cooking Class! We will be learning three ways to use Rhubarb with Chef Linda Mueller!

Experience the joys and all the flavors of one of spring’s most versatile vegetables (yes, it’s a vegetable)—RHUBARB!!  There are so many more things you can do with it than just strawberry-rhubarb pie (not that there’s anything wrong with that).  Chef Linda will lead an educational, tasty and fun evening delighting in just a few of the many culinary options that you can make with this tart veggie that eats like a fruit.  We’ll sample a rhubarb-based cocktail…demo a savory chutney, and crown the evening with a yummy German recipe of Rhubarb Streusel Tart.  Until then, start practicing this German tongue-twister specifically about this culinary delight: click here.

Fee: $30 in person - Students will be required to wear face masks. In person students will receive one free beverage of choice. Class time estimated 2 hours.
