DANK Haus Kinderschule Sommercamp is a fun introduction to and reinforcement of German language and culture for kids ages 9-12.  
Because it was so much fun last year ... this year's theme will once more be "Wenn ich groß bin - When I grow up" and circle around all things skilled trades and jobs. We have two fun-packed weeks planned for our "apprentices" to explore "Berufe" (professions). We will find inspiration for hands-on projects when visiting local fashion and interior designers, Lincoln Square bakers and cooks, purchase fresh snacks at the Farmers Market right outside our doors, haul food donations and unclaimed Lost & Found clothing items to the The Friendship Center Food Pantry, say "Hallo" to Yoga instructors ... and more! Sommercamp is hosted August 6 through 17 from 9am to 3pm. Before & after care is available. Flexible registration for one or two weeks.
