How much German do i have to know to sign up for a class?

None. Our classes start at the absolute beginner level and lead up to the fully proficient level.

How much German will be spoken during class?

The instructors will speak German at least 95% of the time in the Beginner classes, and usually 100% German in Intermediate and Proficient Classes. Teachers only switch to English if it is absolutely necessary for clarification purposes, or emergencies. This is called an "immersion" approach to teaching language. We want you to hear and speak as much German during class as possible.

What is the language proficiency of your teachers?

All teachers are native German teachers or speak German at a near-native level.
