Our lovely spaces and attentive staff help ensure a memorable event. Our affordable rentals offer a great alternative to traditional wedding venues.
Whether you select the stunning Marunde Ballroom or intimate Skyline Lounge, every niche of the DANK Haus is full of history. Original details like terrazzo floors, gilded ornate plaster moldings, original light fixtures and historic chandeliers date back to when DANK Haus was built in 1927.
We’ve updated our space to include modern amenities. Dance the night away under a shiny disco ball with your freshly wed bride, groom or party guests. The built-in stage allows for DJ’s and bands alike to entertain your guests and have them on their feet all night long. Updated WiFi technology throughout the building ensures that your wedding photos are shared instantly on friend’s and family’s social media.

YOUR OUTDOOR WEDDING WITH A SKYLINE VIEW
Whether you’d like to be wed with the stunning Chicago skyline as a backdrop, or your guests with stunning views of the Windy City, our penthouse rooftop terrace on the 6th-floor (Die Terrasse) can be added on to any rental and gives the term outdoor wedding a whole new meaning. Brides and grooms alike have enjoyed this precious feature for their ceremony as well as extension of their reception area. The views, from Edgewater all the way to Indiana, will not only be memorable during the day, but especially at night when Chicago turns into a sea of lights.
WHAT MAKES OUR WEDDING VENUES SO AFFORDABLE?
Unlike many other venues, we don’t control the catering of your wedding and you can supply your own vendors of choice. We have no mandate on suppliers and we’re open to all your preferred caterers. After all this is your wedding and you should be able to choose who can cater your event. Need a little help with selecting a caterer? No problem, we are working with many caterers in the area that have great selection as well as experience at our facility.
And the benefits don’t stop there. We include tables, chairs, ice, trash removal and offer free parking up to 90 vehicles through our partner and sponsor Fifth Third Bank. The parking lot, which is less than a block away, allows guests of DANK Haus to park after business hours at no charge.
